Wife: What's in the box?
Me: Car parts.
Wife: More? I thought the blue car was done.
Me: Well, the engine's done.

4 years and she hasn't caught on to the fact that it's never done.

And the engine's not done either, right?

Engine's done, in the car, have put about 400 miles on it. Runs great! I just changed the break-in oil this weekend and sent some off to Blackstone today. I put the X-pipe on it for now, and need to go out and do some re-tuning. Then I'm waiting for Greg's muffler guy to finish the jigs for the headers and catback, so we can see what it'll do with a proper exhaust.

Be careful with the +12V post on that starter if you put the belly pans back on.....

Andrew, I'm always barefoot. That's the way the wife likes it.

Rob,

Bit of advise coat those spring perches before installing. They will rust quickly if you don't. I learned that the hard way. Ironically the ones they supply for the 911's don't rust.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll hit them with some primer and chassis black.

OK. Where do I get a wheel like that and how much do I need to save for it?

Fun with trannies. Just wait until wife gets home and sees this.
