View from the Baja. Left the 928 at home this morning because my wife said she wanted to wash and wax it. Who am I to argue?

Black centers w/polished rims are the best looking wheels on a white 928, IMO. Nice looking car, DeWolf.

Started cleaning the engine bay yesterday.
First round was degreaser and hp spray to get most of the crap off. This morning was with a brush and degreaser followed by high pressure spray.
Heaps better now, you wouldn't eat your dinner off it, but good enough for me not to come out black every time I touch this thing.

That lettering looks great on that wheel.
My guess is that in order for that lettering to look right, the wheel needs to have a flat inset bevel like the C4's - as opposed to a rounded one like the w/the Turbo twists.
I thought that the Carrera GT had lettering like that, but it doesn't:

Hey Scott, ebay is my friend.......

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Bought more b/c I think I'm going to turn them upside down so you can read them when the decal is at down. Buy more than you need b/c it took me a couple attempts to get them in the right spot.

J.P. I tend to agree with that although if Scott put them on the outer edge above one of the spokes it might work?

Why do they call that color platinum? If you have ever seen platinum, you KNOW it does not look ANYTHING like that! It looks like a VERY BRIGHT, HIGHLY polished silver! They actually DO call the silver anodized wheels Platinum (at least Wheel Enhancement does when you get them refinished).
