It's (afaik) an NR automotive wing, made to look like a Strosek wing. Came with a full bodykit, was installed in 1986 or 87.

Another attempt at early spare tire painting- Wurth Aluminum hight heat spray paint, followed by a satin clear. Too gray? too shiny?

Nice '79. Other than the rub strips looks the same as my N American 79. I thought the Euro cars had a rear 'fog light' or other that differentiated them from the N American cars?

If you zoom in you can see the fog light next to the number plate! And yes the rub strips are not original so someday I will get them off the car, the rest is complete original…
