Nicole,

I saw the ad for them in the latest Panorama and was thinking of trying them out.

I have a ton of rock chips on my 928 and it would be a good candidate for it. I wouldn't think your car needs it. Your car is beautiful and pristine.

Oh Robert... I wish you were right! It might look that from a distance, but still has lots of chips that need attention. All 928s have this issue.

My main concern is about metallic paint. I had tried Langka, and it doesn't work with metallic. I was hoping this system works better. Maybe I shoudd try it on the Saab first - don't know...

Ouch, pricey. I just got some materials from paint-scratch dot com since my color (*996/helelbronze) is no NLA from the suppliers. Nothing proprietary about their product though, its just paint. I hope you stock it if it works as advertised, I'd pay the premium. My hood looks as though it will succomb to solvent-related and poor prep pretty soon anyway.

I had a couple of aerosol cans made for my paint which is metallic (Slate Gray Metallic). It's a clear coat base coat mix, so I can blob on the paint and use Lanka with great results.

I had the paint mixed and put in aerosol cans by D'Angelos in Oxnard. They even used Glasuric (BASF) base. Same company that I think makes the dyes for World Upholstery.

Being in Oxnard, I had to go back a couple times before the non-hispanic employee was there that knew how to do it. Everyone else said "we don't do that".
