Agreed, it's all good.

Incredible work. Thanks for sharing, Hacker.

Todd used a blower because he wanted to - plain and simple. It's his project, his car, his money and his time. I'm only sharing this since I feel most are interested in any development with the 928 world & Todd is a very open person about his projects.

If it were not for Tim, Todd, Carl, and Jim Page (and others, not trying to write an Oscar speech) - there would be 40+ 928's still running around with stock power who are now enjoying far more HP than that factory ever offered. Everyone I have had contact with is damn happy with their setup - they could care less about the "other" setups. What they have works very well, accomplishes what they wanted - a faster 928. It's that simple.

your logo across the front of each picture, does a disservice to the material...........May I recommend that you move it to some place NOT in the midle of the focal plane?.........

awsome engine work. I wish I had the time to do projects like that..........

Clearly there are some fundamentals of forced induction that are simply not understood by people who post on this board.

I'm working on a few web site projects - Todds work will be included with higher resolution images and less of a watermark. I've been so busy with other projects I wanted to throw these up ASAP before it was put on the back burner. Ther watermark process I built in PS is not easily modified (at least not by me) and I wanted to do something to protect the images from popping up on other sites without some way of tying it back to Todd or myself.

Finding a photo-shoot you did on a different web site being tagged by another photographer changes your point of view when posting images.

"Funny, I think I met this guy at RA a few weeks back. "Glen, this is Todd." Just didn't click. JLPs former espresso brown car?"

Why doesnt he use a proper engine management system? Hes obviously aiming for loads of power and a proper system is going to get him more and do it reliably. Why did he go with that manual retard thing?

Trust me - Todd and Louie Ott have been chatting quite a bit over the years. Todd did not want to wait for the LH piggy back system, so he created his own setup. He tried to use an eariler piggy back system (perfect power?) with no luck.

Now that he has it up and running and it works so perfectly, he's not sure about changing to a compuer controlled system. He can literally change this system on the fly, no computer needed. He is no stranger to computer tuning, he was computer tuning his motorcycle back in the 80's.

Sway,
Not sure - I don't think the pistons are in yet. The ones in the picture are spares for his motor.

Nice rods....liking the diameter on those pistons...nice solution to the install with the smaller radiator and front-mounted intake. Wish he were my neighbor!!! Gonna take some fairly serious hardware to move enough air to develop 20 psi feeding a mid-high rpm 7L ! Not that it isn't done in other contexts...

Stock radiator slightly relocated.

I think we're seeing the turning point for 928 development right in front of us.

Hacker, tell him Barry is a huge fan, and envies his knowledge, haha :^)

Regarding my question about why the sc vs. turbo, wow... It was rhetorical, totally not meant to spark anything. I thought we were past that, but my apologies for that either way.

What is Todd doing about cams and head work for these motors? Any ITB setup or CF intakes going to be seen in action?

No worries, my "knock it off post" my more of a general comment to all since those "discussions" tend to ignite and blow faster than a common house wife (hi honey).

Not 100% sure. I know he did some port work on the exhaus side of his heads. I do not recall any intake work - the manifold is stock for an 87. He might be running GT cams, not sure what he installed into this motor.
