Brems = Brakes
There are different brake warnings, brake lining [Bremsbelag], brake fluid level [Bremsfluessigkeit] or brake circuit [Bremskreis] (unequal pressure in the circuits)
Other lights:
Handbremse: hand brake
Oelstand: oil level

There was a thread like this a while ago that helped. Most of my lights, I figured out a while ago, but I'll be damned if I can remember them now. The one your describing sounds like handbrake/emergency brake?

The handbrake switch on thoose old euro's ( like mine), is mounted on a small metal tap, right under the brakehandle. I could be bended, and thus also be bended back in place or defect ! And "bremsbelag" is the brakepad sensor, often not connected or/and faulty wirering somewhere between pad and "computer". Mine is on all the time - but now I don't bother anymore. My other 928 had it too. On that car, I found the wire that generated power to that control light ( under the footrest ) and simply cut it off......
