Default Cheap A/C Manifold Gauges

Harbourfreight did it again: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=92649

The price inside the store is $39.99 but they will honor the internet price if you bring the printout. Just got me a set today :-).

The gauges you point to are for cars that use R-134a. Fittings for R-12 cars are different, and the hoses don't interchange. Shop carefully!

Great price, though. I think mine for R-134a were over $100 when I bought them,

FWIW, I got a Robinair 48450 dual manifold guage set (both R12 and R134a) off Amazon.com (ToolTopia's storefront there, actually). (link)

I've used it for both R12 (the 928) and R134a (our other cars).

Nice set, a little over $100.

Probably not quite as good a deal as what Harbor Freight is offering, though, if you just need R134a support.

"Complete diagnostic and service gauge set for use on air conditioning systems with R134A freon"

Move the two small hoses over the radiator hose and you will have pretty good access.
