as my 928 comes to life and i actually drive it, the other night i took it out through some back roads. no mind shattering speeds but lets say i just didnt slow up for the turns. I have had my share, Vetts, 944, camaro, stang gt and a few more i cant remember. I didnt push the car too hard simply becasue i am new to it and i am getting to know her. But this car in the corner was very predictable and smooth. No push like the 944 and no *** swing like the vett. it just went around the corner.....when i applied power in the corner the car seemed to actually turn more into the corner vs push. what exactly does that axel do?
I think most of what you enjoyed is simply the 50/50 weight balance of the 928, since the Weissach really comes into play when you do "slow up for the turns" via braking.
I honestly don't remember my 944 driving experience resulting in more push (under steer) than the 928 though.
