Default I think I have a fuel leak-Confirm?

I have a spot that seems to be puddling right under the drivers side rear tire. I know the fuel pump is tucked into the rear fender so it has to be fuel but it doesn't smell like gas. Any other possibilities? No color either. Which connection is most likely to leak?

Is there a distinct area I should look? No warning lights and I drove it a lot yesterday. It is a very slow leak. I plan to get under there later tonight or tomorrow.

Perry,

The pump and filter are more towards the pass side, behind the tank. The PSD unit is in the rear tire well.

I am all mixed up now....I know the fuel filter is on the passenger side but I thought the pump was in the fender behind the marker light. What is that thing that I scraped my knuckles up on not to long ago that sits behind the marker light on the drivers side?

That would be your PSD pump. Here's how your gas filter and pump sit, looking toward the front of the car with the cover off

That looks familiar. Is the fluid clear? I stuck my head under the back and didn't see anything obvious. Need to pull the wheel and liner if necessary. Thanks for the extra effort on the photos.

Driver's side rear? Maybe your battery is spitting fluid. I found some spots there when my regulator went nuts... I was able to identify it pretty easily as acid because it made the concrete floor effloresce. Don't touch it until you verify it isn't acid.

I think that if you look closely at your rear muffler you will find a drain hole for condensation. That could be the source of your fluid. I hope it is not anymore serious than that.........goodluck

Trust me on this the rear condensation drain is above the left rear axle behind the wheel and leaks a clear oderless fluid......water !
