Default Pics of boost and afr gauges anyone?

Curious for those who have boosted what additional gauges, manufacturer and where you have located them.: A-pillar mount; center console mount?

Any pics would be very helpful!

Thanks

I used an 2 gauge A-pillar mount from Carl (928 Motorsports) to house the boost gauge and the A/F gauge. The A/F is right at eye level yellow/green=good, red=bad. I liked them in my peripheral feild of view instead of lower by the ashtray. I don't have any pics handy, but could take a couple later if you need them.

BTW, good luck with the SC!

I used a 3000gt dual gauge pod & had it covered in leather in two 928's now: looks incredible. Email me, I'll send you some nice pictures.

I've installed both in the ashtray lid (removed the ash tray and modified the underside a bit).

The picture is at the bottom of this page: http://norcal928.org/DIYSC/diysc04.htm

Similar to Imo000, I've got mine mounted to the ashtry lid, but mine are completely digital. Eventually (read: this winter) I plan to mount them on the central locking panel just below the HVAC control unit.

Soory I don't have a pic yet, but I'll be detailing the car tonight and will try to take a couple of pics for you.

I have three gauges A-pillar mounted, temp (don't trust the stock gauge), boost and fuel pressure. Exhaust gas temp, EGT, would probably be my next choice.

I have a vintage Callaway VDO boost gauge in place of the factory clock...very stealth and a very rare piece indeed! However...I like to watch the boost gauge, so this is not the best place to locate it.

As promised here are my gages. AFR on the left, Boost on the right. The black case that they are housed in can come right apart and then you could conceivably mounth them in the pod. Not sure if I want to do that, but maybe if I can pick up a 90+ 5-speed gage set I might think about it. But I have a feeling they're pretty expensive.

That's some really nice work! How's the SC project going?

Ironic, I almost pulled the guage pod out of my 3000GT VR4 prior to selling....but it was set up for boost monitoring and I knew I wouldn't likely be adding SC to my high-compression Euro. I think one a-pillar guage looks good, and it is the ideal location. Once you're stacking 'em up though....seems a little ricer to me unless its a track car. Forced induction creates a demonstrable need too. I currently have my AFR guage down in the driver's footwell, attached to the package try mount on the console. Its easily viewable while driving for me...but not at WOT so its utility is a bit limited compared to a-pillar mounts.

I'm still conspiring on wiring some fuel pressure guages so I can see what the CIS system is doing.. I have a page for such an install on a CIS delorean...but our hard lines are a bit more cumbersome to deal with.
