Yes, we noticed.
Did you happen to win one of the sets of hood shocks that 928 Int'l sent us for door prizes? I know Big Dave got one set and he needed them too.

Yep, I was hoping for a new '85 head as a door prize. Hood shocks and a gift certificate will do nicely, though.

I noticed the 1 x 4 in the pictures, but I have to do the same on my 928. I don't feel so bad that I haven't ordered my hood struts yet, knowing I am not alone. I hope to be able to come next year, if Hell 2 is put together.

Vise clamps on the thin part of the hood shock holds the hood up nicely without the need for the 1x4. One is enough.

Yea but sucks when you try to close the hood and knock the visegrip loose and it bounces off the fender......

Shhh about the Boxster!!! you are going to ruin my rep!!

Tim and I stopped an 86.5 on his way fishing - tried to get him to come along (well, actually lead us since we were lost - 2 blocks from the hotel).

Now remember we tried to talk you into coming to our event when we were at SITM. We are on the water, have a row/motor boat and a jet boat, and our lake is one of the best in the state for fishing. Next year you and the family will have to fly up and visit us. You can always fly to MN too and spent the rest of the month there.

I seem to only close my hood a few weeks out of the year lately.
