The "New 928" or Pin the Tail on the Panamera...
Just as a whim, I Googled "Porsche Panamera" - Got one that looks like it may actually be a 928 successor. The rest are really interesting. Lots of them came from Russian sites! go figure. - Ruf

I have ordered one ,no 6 in line . Expected delivery 2009/2010. I guess, if at that time I can't afford it, I will be able to sell it again, maybee even with profit. But I'm saving as we speak.....or....chat....

The pics showing the suicide doors in interesting. The head of service at Brumos Porsche told me a while back that Porsche would never make a car with suicide doors with any of their high speed sports cars due to the lessened rigidity of the frame. Looks neat though.

Up to this point I haven't been enthralled by the pictures of the 'next 928.' However, now, seeing the profile shot in the last picture I have to say my mind may be changing. From the side that thing is looking mean. Now, they just need to make sure that it is a two door. We don't do four-doors here unless it's a truck. Hmmm... perhaps this 'next 928' will have towing capacity? Hah....

I agree that it would really be nice if they did a two-door version. I actually think they will, but only after the 4-door has sold enough to prove the basic platform.
So many of these predicted shapes are put together from parts of 911s and CGTs. I wonder how much of these cars will make it into the Panamera. Seeing how much of the Boxster is in the Cayman, I' d say they will use alot of CGT and little 911. I hope they are as willing to cut two doors off the Panamera as they were to add a roof the Boxster! - Ruf

4-door? Ugh. Looks like Porsche is trying too hard to be included in the "family class vehicles".
Reminds me of when Maserati came out with their Quatroporte...last I heard, it wasn't doing too good.
But that's my opinion.
