Just as a whim, I Googled "Porsche Panamera" - Got one that looks like it may actually be a 928 successor. The rest are really interesting. Lots of them came from Russian sites! go figure. - Ruf

COOL!!!.. i cant wait .... not that im in any position to drop them big coins!! but thiers nothing like a company that builds the real Ultimate full range of transportation. 2 seater roadsters ,2+2 sports cars, sports sedans and SUVs.......so were are the pickups?.. ok ill agree they dont need to build them..

I have ordered one ,no 6 in line  . Expected delivery 2009/2010. I guess, if at that time I can't afford it, I will be able to sell it again, maybee even with profit. But I'm saving as we speak.....or....chat.... :burnout:

4 doors = yuk

The pics showing the suicide doors in interesting. The head of service at Brumos Porsche told me a while back that Porsche would never make a car with suicide doors with any of their high speed sports cars due to the lessened rigidity of the frame. Looks neat though.

looks like a stretched 911 YUCK!

Up to this point I haven't been enthralled by the pictures of the 'next 928.' However, now, seeing the profile shot in the last picture I have to say my mind may be changing. From the side that thing is looking mean. Now, they just need to make sure that it is a two door. We don't do four-doors here unless it's a truck. Hmmm... perhaps this 'next 928' will have towing capacity? Hah....

I see a nice looking wagon evolving from this. :icon107:

I agree that it would really be nice if they did a two-door version. I actually think they will, but only after the 4-door has sold enough to prove the basic platform.

So many of these predicted shapes are put together from parts of 911s and CGTs. I wonder how much of these cars will make it into the Panamera. Seeing how much of the Boxster is in the Cayman, I' d say they will use alot of CGT and little 911. I hope they are as willing to cut two doors off the Panamera as they were to add a roof the Boxster! - Ruf

I think the Panamera will definitely have 4 doors, but I also heard they are going to bring back the 928 2dr...

Definately see the 928 profile in the photo on the top left... man that would be sweet to have a new version of the 928 :-0

4-door? Ugh. Looks like Porsche is trying too hard to be included in the "family class vehicles".

Reminds me of when Maserati came out with their Quatroporte...last I heard, it wasn't doing too good.

But that's my opinion.
