My dash shows an outside temp of -40 degrees. What's failed?

The temp sensor is in the bottom of the driver side mirror. That is a place to start looking. Is there ice collecting in that spot?

lmfao. no, its not reading incorrectly. just a normal NH temp swing. if you dont like the weather wait 5 minutes... it'll change. lol. seriously though, you guys have been in a heat wave back home. must make 130 and no humidity look nice.

Ern-
You have a short in your temp sensor located in the driver mirror. I had the same issue. If upon your investigation you find it is connected, you may want to check the harness that goes through the door as I have heard people developing a short where it passes from the door to the cabin. HTH!

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?
