928 International has a replacement unit that takes care of this. I think it's about 10.00 or so. It sets the lower ball unit further back.

I went through the same thing with the conversion on the 82.

Thanks Rod! I'll call them up and order them.

Bill, I have all the parts, so I could hook it all up. I read some other posts, and people were saying it really wasn't worth the hassle. But as long as it would hold the bulb steady, it would be fine.
