Unhappy List "Protocol" violation?

Hi all-

I posted a message in the last 48 hrs about a couple of 928S4's presently for sale that I came across from a dealer in exotics out on the west coast. I only posted it because that's the same dealer where I picked mine up a year or so ago which has truly been a fine car.

However, looks like my posting got vaporized (i.e. edited out). This list has been a tremendous resource to me with many queries I've posted about my car and searches of the forum and I did feel like emphasizing there was nothing slick going on on my part trying to "advertise" cars or sellers as I have no connection AT ALL to the dealer I mentioned beyond my own single purchase by way of a Hemming's listing ( I really don't want to irritate anybody on this list!).

Anyway, I just thought they looked like solid cars and was simply bringing them to the list's attention in case someone was in the market as they'd be hard to come across otherwise -nothing more. In hindsight I realize there is no way for anybody to know if I have some other motive$ for the post.

Sorry for this boring message-there, I feel better. Nuff said-

Hi John:

Don't lose sleep over it. Just post a few nice pictures of your own car instead. There are not many Amazon Green ones out there...

John, I think your only violation was that non-members are forbidden to post " for sale" items. Even if they are not yours.

John,
If you get so much from this forum, why don't you support it and become a member. After all its the best money I've ever spent.
Just a friendly suggestion.

To all who responded, I actually did formally join late yesterday as a matter of fact after I wrote my e-mail and thought about it. Even in lieu of all that horrible peer pressure you applied!
