I can't answer either question, particularly as a "yes or no," but I'm with Larry...why not just buy from 928 International and support a very important community vendor? You'll be assured of good fit, and feel good about doing your part to fuel the frenzy! I know price is important, but think about all of the unsolicited contributions that Mark and Jim (at 928Intl) make to this forum; that's gotta be worth something.

I don't know what the prices are now, but 928I and 928Spec used to be $100+ cheaper than TireRack for Mille Miglia Cup Is.

here's what I am looking at guys...

tirerack, for rims, tires, mount and balance, and shipping, I am looking at $1400

928intl prices the rims at $995... then I still have to buy 4-500 dollars in tires, get it all shipped seperate... (maybe 150-200 in shipping?) and have them mounted and balanced when they get to me... (another 50 maybe?) so, I am looking at 2-4 hundred dollars difference.

I can't call 928 intl from Iraq, but my uncle did for me... they didn't know the specs of thier rims right off, but were supposed to be emailing him the info. I will chat with him soon.

I would absolutely choose the higher price from a more trustworthy supplier, if it were not such a difference, in terms of price and PITA to get everything to me and on the car.

I support 928intl on many other things when I am buying parts for my cars, for exactly the reasons mentioned... but, I don't make enough money to be taking the moral high road when up to $400 dollars is the difference.

I didn't see the cup I's on 928spec... maybe I should look again.

thanks for your input guys.

just to prove my previous point, I will donate $100 dollars to any sharkworthy cause, if I do not indeed end up buying from 928 intl. test me folks... I'm serious. but, in the meantime, I eagery await knowing where Iam getting my rims.

I didn't mean to bust your chops, Tim; 400 bucks is a big price differential!

CALL 928 Specialists. Thier advertised prices for rims and tires on-line are usually dictated by the manuyfacturer, but they can usually do MUCH better. They can get you the right wheels/tires and get them all mounted up for you.

Another option is to get the wheels from Specialists or INTL, and then take them to a tire dealer that will give you a life-time tire balacing and road hazard warranty. Just a thought. BTW, what sizes are you looking for?

Chaad... no offense taken, just wanted to clarify my reasons. I know choosing between suppliers can be a sensitive area, especially considering the hard work the 928intl and 928spec puts in.

Andrew...

that is a good idea. thanks for the info. I will email 928spec now. thanks again guys, as always.
