ya, thanks a ton DR. when my new one gets here, i now know i can change some 'settings' on it which will compliment my AFPR, that should be arriving here anyday from NC!

So, thanks to the encouragement of DR ( albeit 3.5 years ago and directed to somebody else), I've opened an 85 TPS. Filled with engine oil. (from spewing crankase vent line) Gonna clean, check, and hopefully reuse it.
Am doing this because my 85 rip vanwinkler has had trouble . Not at idle, not at heavy throttle, but at acceleration from a stop. The question remains whether I can adequately clean/restore the microswitch.
