OK I am posting this for those of you that still want a GTG for this month since we missed the first weekend w/the 4th. I know kinda last minute. In following with the location that seems to be known by most is at Algonken Park. Time is 12pm. Famous Daves following the park meet up for lunch.

Any of you water cooled guys that wanna show up please do. I talked to Beerfish and he is up for that and lunch at Famous Daves or Bungalo Billiards. I hope that some of the others might be up for a GTG.

YUP! Ill be there!! Several others have contacted me before this was posted so, there will be some company, especially with such awesome weather!! (sticky tires!!)
The park name is actually Algonkian. We have been meeting at the first lot. It is the first left once you are in to the park, where all the covered grilling areas are... speaking of... hmmmmmm, next time?
We'll discuss this option for August! Hopefully I dont have a race that weekend.
By the way, we have a gallery to post photos of the meeting site with some other albums also. Here is Algonkian.

Michael,
You picked a good day. Tomorrow's supposed to be a really nice day, and there's nothing on the docket (as of yet).
I'm going to try to make it.
Steve, thanks for the heads-up

I will try and make it also, I saw that the Dorkiphus group is also having a cookout at noon in Great Falls, VA. All of this is a few hours away for me anyway! Does this sound interesting? Would just need to let George know a head count and bring a side?

This is another get together Saturday, info below, sounds like they have some cool cars in the shop. What do you guys think? Could meet up at noon for the tour and then goto lunch? As you can see I don't get out much and with a two hour drive up I'm trying to maximize my fun!!!! I may go then meet up with you guys for lunch.
Mike,
What time do you plan on being at the resturant, which one?
Glenn
We decided to get together with various P-car owners and enthusiast and the gathering is set forJuly 8, 2006. Funktion Auto was kind enough to sponsor our efforts and host the afternoon portion of the gathering.
Of course it is open to all P-cars and we hope to see you all
I am certain we will have multiple similar events in the coming months. FunktionAuto, who has been a big supporter of the P-car and racer communities since they opened, is very open to hosting this type of events. One of the attractions, at least for me, is the high possibility of visiting the entire facilities and see all historic and collector cars, from the Dino, 250GTO, Prototype Labo Countach, SL300, etc. Amazing collection of cars.
Details:
10 am - Meet up at Starbucks
11 am - Drive to Funcktion Auto through back roads of course
12 am - Arive at FA, lunch, tour the facilities
2 pm - Mini Grand Prix at Allsports
4 pm - Start waiting for the next event

If we all show up at Algonkian before noon (which wont happen), we can head out around 12:30. Be at Function (would look great to all arrive together fashionable late ) by around 1pm. Then the Allsport GP is back to right up the street from where we were planning on eating lunch, in the Home Depot plaza in Sterling.
