Default 1988 928 S4 Black/Tan for sale

Well…for those that know or remember me…selling my shark is not an easy decision to make but…I simply don’t have the time (new business and out of state) to spend with the car and having it sit in storage for another year is not where the car should be.

In the future when the times right, I’ll replace it with possibly a GTS.

This car is set to go and needs nothing. I can email additional pictures and jpeg’s of all service records to serious buyers.

Nah, they don't match my 17-inchers.

But the car is gorgeous!

For those not familiar with this car:

Tim bought the car a few years ago, and immediately had --everything-- brought up to new condition, before even taking delivery. The car has since been equipped with the tires/wheels described in Tim's ad.

The SoCal group has known this car since Tim acquired it. It is, in my opinion, one of the best examples around. At the time that the car was in SoCal, Tim was a flying producer for Fox, hence the picture next to his 'office' in Nicole's post. Since then, Tim has moved on up the entertainment ladder, and that meant relocation. The car travelled to Seattle, and was put in climate-controlled storage there while Tim started on a project in Alaska.

We often recommend that potential owners shy away from project cars, and focus their searches on cars that are already in great shape. This car is a poster child for that 'great shape' description. It is cosmetically outstanding, as you can see from the photos. It is mechanically outstanding, and falls into that rare "unmolested" category. Tim takes outstanding care of his cars and other toys. The lucky buyer of this car will not be disappointed!

Why was the engine torn down at 37K?

It was resealed, and a suspected head gasket problem was taken care of at the same time. It had the typical 'seepage' issues that we often see on older cars even when the mileage is quite low (as this one was). It was decided that a total clean and reseal was the best option.

This is typical of the 'do it like you mean it!' philosophy that we often wish all PO's could share. The PO of my car had it, and it has made my 928 ownership experience a pleasure.

Hi Tim

Would you be interested in a trade for a '55 T-Bird?
