Q: Is "Johnny Law" where you live really that ****? Don't you think you can simply install the original bulbs and get away with it? I have the clear turns on my car and kept the original bulbs and haven't had any problems.

All of this happened at dusk, and we are there trying to see by the pen light from my glovebox, an offer of assistance would have been nice rather than a scan to see what violations we could be nailed on.
My neighbor is a city policeman and he is a stand up guy for sure, is guess we found a bad apple on a Wednesday evening.

I have LED bulbs (not bulbs per se, since they are LEDs 
) in my motorcycle turnsignals and they are all but invisible when off and are bright amber when lit, I like em. Just a thought.

There must be a widely-read highway patrol manual out there that requires a shi**y attitude on the part of all officers.
I did, once, have a good experience in Arizona.
