Q: Is "Johnny Law" where you live really that ****? Don't you think you can simply install the original bulbs and get away with it? I have the clear turns on my car and kept the original bulbs and haven't had any problems.

N?

On the way out to Denver for the OCIC our dually had a blow out 70 miles into the trip and no less than two Iowa State Troopers pulled over but not to offer assistance. The trooper in the rear most car didn't even get out, he just sat there, probably helping the other run our plates. The guy that did get out simply walked up and said something like, "you had a blow out huh?" ; he then proceeded to take down the plates on the dually, the trailor, the 911, and my 928 so he could run them for violations and whatnot. Maybe he thought the cars maybe stolen, who knows? Anyway as we finished up and put our turn signal on to pull out into the traffic lanes again he pulls up next to us and says, "the sticker on your trailer is expired, i looked it up and the registration is current, but you need to get the sticker on there" then he sped away with the second trooper in tow.

All of this happened at dusk, and we are there trying to see by the pen light from my glovebox, an offer of assistance would have been nice rather than a scan to see what violations we could be nailed on.

My neighbor is a city policeman and he is a stand up guy for sure, is guess we found a bad apple on a Wednesday evening.

I have the front ones in stock in limited quantity. More coming soon... We are not currently planning to do the rears.

I have LED bulbs (not bulbs per se, since they are LEDs ) in my motorcycle turnsignals and they are all but invisible when off and are bright amber when lit, I like em. Just a thought.

Would have happened in Minnesota too. At least our guys can blame their sour attitude on having to wear "purple" pants.

There must be a widely-read highway patrol manual out there that requires a shi**y attitude on the part of all officers.

I did, once, have a good experience in Arizona.
