i'm going with 85-86 manifolds, to cool the charge i'm running (2) small intercoolers side by side. so the pressure drop is keep to 1.5 psi from turbo to manifold. i'm using l-jet fuel compents with 80's 300zx 30lb injectors hose style, And 749gm ECM(pulled all a GMC Typhoon), with a ICM to pull timing under boost, using a inline Gm TB W/Iac and TPS built in) along with a 2 bar map sensor. all backed up with a Snow stage 1 or 2 water injection kit for safety on these nevada hot days. i can burn my own chips anytime and my ECM will read a WBo2 sensor so i can fine tune. Only one other guy is running this setup on a 928 and he's running like 9 psi non-ic at LimeRock. Bill Shaw gave me a base line Binary file to start tuning. It was kinda of a pain but i have to open the box and solder ohm resistors onto the injector drivers to run low ohm injections. it gets pretty intense. but this Ty/SY ECM of the turbo truck has been pick apart like no other all the software is free or very very affordable. I can control my wastegate, pull and map timing, set rev limiter, tune my accel and deccel pulse widths on my injectors, am much much more...............
