I just purchased my first 928 (87'S4-Guards Red). Would like to introduce myself and thank Randy for directing me to this site. It was pleasure meeting you Randy and look forward to learning and enjoying this site.

Glad you've already met the local constabulary/bartender. This is a great site and a tight community. You will learn a lot from this group. Don't be afraid to ask silly questions. We all had to at some point. It's part of the learning process.

I know there are a LOT of us Chazz, but trying to get more than a few together to do something 928 related is the impossible dream 
Too darn much to do around here I guess. This is why I try to participate in as many NORCAL 928 activities as possible, nice tight community up there!

We have to do something randy. And make it good enough where everybody comes out. Maybe an en mass visit to a PCA event, or an SCCA.

Oceanside, eh? That's where I topped off my radiator
after a small hose burst while we were in Fallbrook,
headed for Sharktoberfest '05. After that, no problem.

Why don't you San Diego shark owners join us on the last Sunday of each month (this month is June 25th), for the gathering of Super cars in Woodland Hills

Larry, I've tried a few times to get the locals here just to go for fun drives or caravan to bigger events!! Haha!! You think they will get up at 4 am on a Sunday to head up your way (poke, poke... c'mon guys and girls... maybe if I shame you enough something will happen 
). Looks like kind of a mob scene anyway, I'd rather drive.

Next month Larry, my 928 is in the throes of a TB/WP/intake vacuum lines/cam cover gaskets/engine mounts/oil pan gasket (pantpant) surgery, just got the new cam and oil pump gears this afternoon (thanks 928 Int'l! ), so my weekend is accounted for!
BTW, welcome to the fold Mauricio! Sorry for the temporary hijack. I hope to see you around the SD area and hopefully the next time we have the occasion to gather at Randy's abode. No beer nights there... TEQUILA!! Right Andrew??
