Default Weight of my S4

So I was volunteering at tech for the Porsche Clash at Watkins this past weekend. All we were doing was pushing cars up on the scales and writing down weights and names. In the morning we had a lull so I rolled my car up on them. 3414lbs. Right front corner was 900 lbs (heaviest corner) and left rear was 750lbs (lightest corner). I had all of the floor mats and standard stuff in the car. The only change was the H-pipes, RMB and no spare tire.

What's your car weigh. Add 260lbs for driver and 135lbs for wifey and were just over 3800 lbs of German Fury.

SO a stock '78 is as much as my (mostly stock) S4? I thought the S4's were supposed to be extra heavy?

With the same options equipment the S-4 is not that much heavier but some early cars are no A/C ,no sunroof, no power seats, with small brake rotors etc. The very brown 1980 is about 3100 lbs since I bolted in a HEAVY rollbar...

Curt,

I've made no attempt to lighten the car. I may have saved a few pounds with the cat-back, and a few more with a lighter AC compressor & electric fan, but generally I've made it heavier by adding some things back that were missing, like front wheelwell liners, bigger headlights, belly pan, replaced missing battery lid, and some added weight like floormats on top of the original floormats(sure rides quiet), fire extinguisher, etc. I believe my wheels are a bit heavier than stock as well. Also, I have the original spec battery, which is frickin' HUGE:
