Is that Fuel Pump is for a 928
Hi all,
I just want to be sure if that Fuel Pump will fit in my '87 S4. The seller say it will but the Bosch part number doesn't match

I saw 2 differents part number for the 928 since MY '87.
928.608.104.02 and 928.608.104.03
What's the differences between them.

Luc, I have an '89 GT. I believe they went to a two pump system again starting in '89, an intank pump and the external one. The external one for '89 is part # 928.608.104.03 and it's corresponding bosch # is 0-580-464-057. I believe the '87 & '88 pumps were blue like the one in the auction. My '89 was a green pump. It might be that the 87/88 pump had a little more pressure since it didn't have an intank pump to help it.
