Default Big Brakes for an 80 EuroS

I am interested in upgrading the front brakes on my 1980 Euro S, as I understand it I can not use the current adapter kits because of the difference in the spindles on my car, it has the same spindles as the 82 to 86 US cars. Changing to early spindles is beyond my ability. Last week at SITM I heard that there were adapters being developed and that DR had a prototype set. Any info on them? I am thinking with 17 inch rims I could go to the 322mm rotor and big reds.

Why not email, or call, DR directly? 928gt.com

And then report back here. If you don't have ABS the spindle switch is easy.

I got a hold of DR on the brake adapters, there are issues with them, not ready for release as of yet and he is uncertian of when and if they will be released. Looks like I am in the market for some new old spindles

Thank you for the offer of help sourcing the spindles, but I actually need the spindles of a pre 82 US car. The adaptors are designed just for tthose spindles. As I understand it, later spindles require significant changes be made to the front suspension.

S4 spindles require S4 upper and lower control arms.
