"Now thats a cool car"
Ture enough the locals in this part of the world don't see too many sports cars let alone a super car so yesterday when 'in town' I decided to wash the car.
Just finishing the rinse when these kids walk past the front of the bay:
"thats a cool car" one of them says.
Thumbs up from his buddy.
I smiled and gave the thumbs up back
Went home and polished her up a little more while enjoying a cool one; still had the smile on.

Got the thums up from a construction guy the other day.
I was coming of a bridge on to an off ramp of some sort, there is a bulding going up so he couldn't see me coming. I gues he heard me and was standing just behing the site with is thum up....

I get lots of neighborhood kids walking past my house to the park......get lots of entertaining comments.....from "nice corvette" to "WOW a Ferrari"....to the occasionally correct...."nice 928"...most of them all like it....even if they have no clue what it is!!

I remember being in Vegas with Tony H for the Fremont Street PCA event. We had all of the 928's parked about 50 yeards from the "other" Porsches. Tony was sitting there with Bill when some kids come walking up after looking at the 911's and such and say, "These are the COOL cars!"

A couple of 17-18 year old guys were near my car when I came out of target the other day. Kid asks if it is a Porsche and then responds "Nice Car". Always amazes me that so many people don't know our cars. That is what makes them fun to drive.

Since mine is silver, it's not uncommon to hear, "Dude, that's that Back to the Future Car!"
I have had the "Nice Ferrari" thing and the "Is that a Porsche or Ferrari"?
Can't blame them, I can hardly tell what's a Toyota, Subaru or whats a Honda.

Good call on the flux capacitor. A couple pals at work yell that at me when I drive the shark to work. It's kinda cool because it is such and 80's car and that move punctuated the mid 80's. Nostalgically futuristic, if that's possible...
