That was some pretty ugly traffic there, for awhile, eh? Oh, I hate to think back on that part of the trip!

Your turbos plus some plumming..to DRs twin Throttle body setp...to a modified plenum...to DRs twin screwed already I/C'd manifold....plus a Shark tuner with fuel and igntion.

I believe leaving the original intake manifold and running a nice big air-air intercooler is better than DR’s water –air setup. On the other hand the dual TB setup might be needed to flow enough air.

I know noting of boosting cars BUT, can we use an AC evaporator in the intercooler? That would cool the air big time would it not?

Just curious...

it can be done but you would have to keep the AC running to be effective. Best i have seen was what Blownbeast did. In his every day driving with the AC on it super chilled the coolant tank...and i mean SUPER CHILLED! He took the rear AC evaporator and basicaly made a coolant tank that enclosed it and all the piping. Not for the faint of heart.
Works well for everyday driving..water intercooled..then being able to super chill the tank when needed.

There is a lot of flow potential with the stock manifold and throttle body. One bar and you are up over 600 HP. I have already fitted the intercoolers...enough space for them as intended. The coolers are big enough for about 700 HP, and will be very nice in the 500 range for sure. It's a very different setup then what people are used to seeing. But that is okay, that is what makes it unique.

Call me crazy...but I think boosting this car will be very easy compared to the 16V cars....mainly because the fuel mods will be easier on this car and there is actually more room in some areas as compared to the 16V cars.
