Default Gulf Performance - Pompano FL

I am soon-to-be the owner (hopefully) of a 1985 928S, owned by fellow Rennlister. Per PPI, there are a few matters to have done.

I heard about Gulf Performance in Pompano being a knowledgeable 928 shop. Is anyone familiar? If so, who should I talk to about servicing as I don't have unlimited budget.

Also any recommendations regarding any other South FL mechanics specializing in 928s.

Thanks

Gulf Performance is great with 928's. Talk to Felix or Patty at (954) 783-7345.

If you want another opinion, I completely agree with what Mark said.

Gulf is the best in SFL. Not inexpensive, but the best.

I often wonder how this is determined..."Not inexpensive " it is easy to compare hourly rates but what if the "cheaper" hourly rate guy takes twice as many hours, replaces several un-needed parts, and fails to fix the problem ?

c'mon Jim, the installment pay plan is very enticing, but you're right, it's ususally better to just suck it up and pay up front.

Thumbs up

I met up with Felix a few years back when I had my other 928 and he seemed very knowledgble about our cars. I didnt have any work done on my car there as I had the car back home in NY. but I felt that I could bring it there with out worry as other customers spoke highly of him.. seeing 4 other 928s there local and not local gave me the impression that he was one of those that people looked for even when not local to them with his skills in repair and diagnostics on a 928. Good to hear there is another 928 owner in town.
Gulf is good and pricing is reasonable. Felix is not with Gulf anymore, only Vince.
Not too many options around South Florida.
