Gotcha. So I think I need some blue ones then. As long as I don't pull the engine in the next 4 days. And the scary part is I will have room to do that as well. Its amazing what going from 4 to 2 928s does for your space issues.

the visible sparks (if any) are very small & blue, if the underside of your wires are cracked, you wont' see the sparks. You're only observing about 2/3 the perimeter of the wires at best. I dont know of a 27 year old set of wires that have "made it" this long, but if your car runs great...more power to you.

FYI: my wires only fit LH-jetronic & up 928's. Earlier wire sets were constructed differently & cannot reuse the distributor cap end, but I'm working on that....
