Just because you don't see it doesn't mean there isn't an arc somewhere. If the car runs good, then you're ok at the moment. Disturbing wires is what usually causes the cracking leading to arcing. Most wires last only about 10-15 years max.

Me too! I'll take a set of reds. Thanks for the great, if mistaken work.

I am sooo looking forward to installing them. My car has been having some "issues" lately and my tech said the wires were less than 2000K resistance (I could be wrong but some thing to that effect) ) - all I know is he said my wires are toast.

Couldn't have come at a better time.

Thanks

Hi Mads,

Yes, sure can. I would need a city & Postal code to calculate shipping, but I don't reckon it would surpass $20 or so.

85-86 is one wire set, '87-95 is another kind of set: wire lengths are slightly off, though, you can get either set to work on either engine type, it's just that the looms won't be perfectly OEM

Mark - I took off my baked wires from the 86 a few weeks ago, and was looking at the distributor end - you are saying that the screw end is also what comes out of the distributor plugs? I was doubting that this would be try when I was looking at it.

Because I would like a blue set if its true.

Yes, they unscrew from both ends. slide a toothpick in between the boot & the wire, down about 1 inch or so, then spray a drop of armor-all (or similar) into the gap, work the toothpick around the perimeter of the wire to loosen it up, then they just unscrew.
