Sterling,
If you are willing to wait and be a test subject I will hold the pricing for a the replacement of the 90 and up if it looks like it will be of a benifit and I can make it work.
Thanks Alan for helping out with the questions. I may pick your brian to see if this could easily be a replacement for the factory controller as a possible advantage for increasing the functions available.
Brendan, PM sent will send email tonight (last night got a little too busy and wasn't able to send to you)

If you have never recieved an email from me it may be that I have missed adding you to the commited list. Please PM me if that is the case. If you have recieved an email from me (rod.kubis-at-rogers.com) then there is no need to contact me. I will get to putting a list together for all those that have paid and contacting those who have not.
Thanks for your patience.

I just spoke with Rod (thanks for all your help, Rod). First off, this is a great product and very versatile. I can’t wait to see the climate control Rod is also developing.
As for the window controls: based on the assumptions that it takes the window about 4-5 secs to open/close and it takes the sunroof about 6-7 secs to open/close, I am thinking about the following setup:
Driver window switch (down button is “open” and up button is “close”):
press down < .5 secs = express open all the way
press down > .5 secs = controlled down – stops moving when you let up off the switch
press up < .5 secs while express opening = stops opening at that point
press up < .5 secs while stopped = express close
press up > .5 secs = controlled up – stops moving when you let up off the switch
Passenger window switch:
press down <.5 secs = express open all the way
press down > .5 secs = controlled down
press up < .5 secs while express opening = stops opening
press up < .5 secs while stopped = express close
press up > .5 secs = controlled up – stops moving when you let up off the switch
Rear Wiper switch:
press on < .5 secs = wipe once
press on > .5 secs but < 2 secs = intermittent wiping with 5 sec interval
press on > 2 secs = wipe constantly
press off = stop all wiping at end of wipe
Sunroof switch:
press open < .5 secs = express open all the way
press open > .5 secs = controlled open
press close < .5 secs while express opening = stops opening at that point
press close < .5 secs while stopped = express close
press close > .5 secs while stopped = controlled close
With these additional codes:
press driver’s window down and sunroof open at the same time for < .5 secs = express open both windows and sunroof
press driver’s window up and sunroof close at the same time for < .5 secs = express close both windows and sunroof
I think these are all possible, right Rod? Everyone else, what do you guys think about the choices?

I'm doing the same with the express all -the driver/roof combo, rather than the drive/pass.
For the wiper, I'm doing <.5, one wipe, .5-2, 5 second delay, <2 seconds, 10 second delay. I've never had a car with a rear wiper that I've needed it running constantly, I'd rather have a moderate delay and a long delay, and a mist.

All these are possible. It is simply a matter of reprogramming the micro controller. For the first group buy I will program what ever combination you would like (as long as it is physically possible) for no charge. future orders would have to be extra.

Yes I'm interested in how this turned out also Rod? how many are out there in 928 land now?
I did see one issue with the proposed operation...
Note that the rear wiper swicth doesn't have an "off"
3 options (or more):
A Rod had proposed some combinations of switches tegether for off (not at all intuitive)
B Just press for "wipe once" and then after that its off ... (easy - somewhat intuitive but you get an extra wipe)
C Swap the switch for a double ended one (like a window switch - more work/wiring - not sure if Rad allowed for it)
Alan

The window controller was installed at SITM in rogers car. It worked flawlessly for a couple of months then just stopped working. I am hoping it is something simple (chip pulled out of a socket or something like that). He has sent it to me an as soon as I recieve it I will find out what happened. I am ready to ship ones for people who want to use the original switches but want to make sure you are getting a quality product.
Alan, yes I made provision to use a window switch and just relable it with a jaeger switch overlay.
Anyone who has paid should be seeing these ship 1-2 weeks after I acertain the issue at hand.
PM me or email me at rod.kubis'at'rogers.com for more information.
Thanks,
