Ouch -- I can see why the interior is going. Nice job getting it back! Maybe you can get the seats recovered with the correct skins, and have the repo guy toss those bowling-bag lookin' skins on the guy's lawn!

"Got any pics of the headlights up? "

hehehe funny you should ask, quick answer is no, take a look at this pic of the car, when we pulled it out of the shop it was still being put back together after being painted, we didn't get my headlamp units back ( RX7 style) so I'm thinking to do something different again. Also missing is the spoiler and the air ducts for the brakes

Sweeet car! Yes, the interior looks like it was done by someone after a little too much acid, but the rest of it makes up for it!!

Someone please tell me about the mirror upgrade, never seen them on an OB? Looks great!

Also, do you still have the speedvision video anywhere?

Hey Marcus, was this your Esprit at Sharktoberfest '04? If not it looks like a carbon copy of yours....

That interior looks like something out of Nike store.

Glad you found it , and in ok condition. It look's like the guy did spend some money on it - maybee he also took care of the engine ( in a good way ). When mine was stolen and later recovered it was trashed and crashed....

I would keep the interior... At least in sweden, to hire someone for a job like that would cost a fortune.

What are the insurance implications. Did they pay you for the stolen car, if so, did you have to buy this one back?

Totally cool story...congrats on getting your car back. Interior is strangely appealing but yet it isn't - can't put my finger on it! Definitely professionally done, same for the paint and the wheels look decent too.

Glad your efforts paid off.

Amazing you got it back after all that work was done. I guess no paint job could disguise that wide-body kit.

Hi John

The aero style mirrors will bolt straight on, the wiring is the trick, the new style motors work together to move the mirror unlike the old style that had one motor for N/S and one for E/W , Take a look in the archives the wiring diagrams were posted several times, if you can't find them I may be able to find my copies.

Ahh the video, it was up on my website but it seems to have broken, I'll get that working again

thx

-Marcus
