Temperature in the Toronto area reaching in the 90's and humidity makes it feel like 100 plus!
With the combination of hot air coming through center vent and more hot air from tunnel(window switch and **** stick area) im roasting. Yes air conditioning works fine but I like open air and listening to my RMB exhaust.
What are you southerners doing to prevent/reduce hot air in cabin?
Thanks

Hot air more in the center vent than in the side vents is characteristic of a heater valve that is not closing. Pull the air cleaner housing and locate the valve coming off the back of the block. You could try to manually tiewrap it shut, like Tony did. This assume the valve is OK inside.

You can remove the shifter cover and stuff some insulation down there to block the hot air from getting into the cabin. This usually is a sign of collapsed motor mounts and/or deteriorated foam block. The foam block is on top of the torque tube and requires remoavl of the TT to replace. Best to just stuff in some insulation until you can check the motor mounts, and if not them, the foam block.

Mike,
Just as Bill suggested, the centre vent issue is almost always a fail heater vavle. It's very easy to check and temporarly fix until a new one arrives. If you want, I can take a look at it for you.
