i have to say that i have been in very close contact with dave throughout the process and he has literally worked himself to the bone to get it right. quite an excellent accomplishment and great addition to the options that we now all have.
one other thing- i get to be first

With 400+ foot lbs all the way, it's good 928Specialists sells tires as well.
Guess it's 295 width rear tires on 10" or 11" rims minimum.
Or one gets to pull Bill ***** all day long.

Great job, DR. Hope you're eating solid food now.
It's good you'll be able to get some rest at SITM. Can't do development work while
entertaining us hooligans.

Dave that is just plain AWESOME!!! I commend you for your tireless effort to get this done right. I know you must have had lots of pressure to deliver this earlier but your development work paid off big time. I hope you're still planning a birthday bash for Jeannie in Denver at the 928 OCIC so everyone west of the mississippi can feast their eyes on it. I can't wait to see it!

I think DR needs a new kit on the website.... it should consist of the kit, a crossover, a set of wide wheels, and some equally wide and sticky tires to go with them

Once we get control over Ignition and fuel we should also be able to squeeze even more safe power out of our SC kits.

Hi Dave,
Yes, EZK is almost ready.....it would be easy to use the 91 octane setting on the code plug as a basis for creating a new map to edit for that fuel.

With a suitable switch, it would then be easy for an owner to switch at will between the map you will create for 93/98 and the new 91 map.

I swear, for someone, me, that has kept saying, no, don't need it....you guys are making it very very hard not to.

Guess I need to start saving my pennies, 456/400 at the wheels with no other mods, thats just plain rediculous.

Nice Dave, very nice .......here is one you deserve it!

Great work! Now, build a shortblock and turn the screw down to 12 psi! This is clearly the best option for supercharging the S4. You might make more peak HP with a centrifugal, but my money would be on this system all day long. It is hard to argue with that kind of torque over such a broad powerband!

Congratulations.

Thanks to everyone for your comments!!

John,

>Yes, EZK is almost ready....

YEAH!!

>.it would be easy to use the 91 octane setting on the code plug as a basis for >creating a new map to edit for that fuel.

Yes, we have already experimented with that. BUT, as you know the SharkTuner is the way to do it the best.

>With a suitable switch, it would then be easy for an owner to switch at will >between the map you will create for 93/98 and the new 91 map.

That is a great idea! It would be easy to make a switch that would change the pin out from one coding plug configuration to another.

We are also already planning to have a Bypass Switch which will keep the bypass valve open and therefore eliminate or greatly reduce the boost levels for when 928ers allow mere mortals to drive their boosted 928s.

Pmotts,

>Exceptional!!!

THANKS!

>I want one!

That can be arranged :-), but the waiting list is pretty long at present and the sooner you get in line the sooner you can get one.

>How much boost will this system male and how much boost do you think your GT can handle safely ?

I haven't been too interested in pushing the limits on my 928 and certainly do not plan or wish to do so on other's 928s. I have ran my current system up to 8.5psi with no adverse issues, no knocking, pinging, or tip in issues etc, etc.

Our production systems will ship and be supported at this time with only the approx 6.5-7 psi pulleys. However we can supply the 8-8.5 psi pulley and even one that should be close to 9-10psi without any other mods (except tuning changes). BUT, at this time you will be on your own when experimenting with higher boost levels until we have done further testing/tuning to feel comfortable enough to stand behind it.
