'Cool', be in touch soon for stainless adapter...and maybe abandoning my original plan and opting for the 100 cpi X, too. I can lean 'er out enough to get past the sniffer-- I don't think I have to anymore though due to age of the thing, but I don't mind giving up 6 HP for cleaner air. Besides, this thing was waay too loud for me without any cats- I'll be hoping the 100cpi pass a *little* more sound than stock, but if not thats OK.
Now that I have a simpler than learning to weld properly for getting my 32V manifolds in there, i should have a nice little improvement from the project.

Does the X setup with cats come in a full 304 stainless setup? I see a picture that looks like stainless. Price?
Has two X o2 sensor bungs?
So you recommend stainless or a full ceramic coated setup?

Hey Loren, the X is now available in full 304 stainless. The cats are stainless also. The X in stainless is $549.95 and the cats are an additional $299.95 for the pair. It does have two O2 sensor bungs as all our X's and Y'x do.
I have no long term testing data available between the HPC coated vs. the stainless, they will probably both outlast the cars they are installed on. As for appearance...I polished one stainless X for show purposes but it's not going to be cheap. Anyone can have one polished, I did this one before it was assembled...and again after. There's two days of polishing on this one. It's not very clean at the moment but it does look like a mirror.

So by the sounds of it the 100 cpi cat is longer yet can pretty much handle it...
Do you think it will pass CA smog standards? Is Utah different?

The visual is a roll of the dice, if for some reason they look, they are going to want to see a cat with a CARB EO#, actually ditto for the Y or X pipe. If they look.
