Friend of mine put Kumho's on his Jag coupe, hated them over the original P-Zero's.

Local 86.5 owner put Nittos on his car, took them off after a month, switched to Bridgestones.

I cannot remember the exact details on each, just the overall story.

I have Continental Sport II's on my 79 track car (came with the 997 18" wheels, work great in the rain). After my next DE, I'm switching to DOT track tires.

I ran Bridgestone RE730's before they were cut from the line. Not 100% sure what I'm buying for the 81 next time around. I will probably stick with Bridgestone's.

Quiet - NOT!!! At least after about 50% wear!

I've gone to the Fuzions and am very happy. (too early to tell how the noise will be - still fairly new). I will NOT buy the Yokos again!

I have Kumho Ecsta MX right now. I've used them for several open road races and a track day in addition to street driving. Absolutely no complaints! In fact, I will probably get the same tire for this years ORR. Too many people say Kumho's suck, when they aren't being specific. Generally they are referring to the Kumho Supra. When I ordered my set from Tire Rack, the rep recommended the MX for ORR, yet said the Supra's were total crap. I'm sticking with the MX.

Toyo proxes4 or you could call them Toyo Proxe S4 - LOL (high Performance all weather)
Toyo T1R (High Performance Summer only)

Love the Toyo's!

BTW - I run the Proxes4 on my S4 and the road noise is quiet and when you push it - they hold very well.

They are relatively expensive but well worth it. (lucky for me - I have a line in with Advance GoodYear)

275 x 40 x 17 Rear.

I like them. Pretty good in the rain too.

Toyo Proxes 4 on my GT, Audi S4, VW Pickup and when the new Continentals on my VW GTI wear out, I'll be putting them on it too. No complaints at all with them and I can't say that about any other tire I've tried in the past.

I have been very happy with the Toyo's as well. I believe they have replaced the Proxe T1S but I am not sure what the new one is called
