I agree with your assessement, except to say that the LH system will be nowhere near any of my cars. AEM, Megasquirt, (I already have the MS) are all specific options for the boosted motor. And 3500 is outrageous. MS is 600 assembled tops. The AEM standalone may get there, but thats streetable, fully tuned and having paid for the wiring and help before that. You get the basic unit installed and wired yourself, with a quick street tune and you pay less.

Only then, think about more horsepower.
