pics???

usually the mistake is forgetting where the tires end up under compression, not just the flares.

Yes please do tell us the wheel size and offset as well as the tire you were using... I want to be sure to include it in the wheel size chart as an example of what will not fit. Sorry to hear of your problems. Can you explain a bit more as to what exactly happened? Pictures?

I was running only a 265 but with a 1" spacer. It looked like it would work with a slight fender rolling. It looked great. Then I drove it , hit a dip and heard a gut wrenching crunch/grinding sound. I ran this same setup with 255's and no issues, but the tire manuf. were different. Wheels are 18" RIVAS and tires are S03 pole positions. rear offset is 52 I was told. Spacers are off and the new fitment is good. I feel like an *** for not realizing what Mark Kibort stated earlier in this thread.IS there a good flaring option out there besides GTS qtrs? I think that would be alot more expensive. Somebody needs to make a Gts flare that would graft easily on the existing quarterpanel.

Louis Ott's flares look a lot like GTS flares, but they're wider. They're fiberglass, not steel.

What width are the rear wheels?

hey Matt, the wheel width (rear) is 9.5. I like the Ott flares but are too extreme without a front fender flare treatment to go with them. I know a local panel beater and maybe I can talk him into($$$$) fabbing a set of simple, more compact Gts flares that will graft nicely on a s4 qtr. Anybody think this will work?
