It's that time of the month, again.

Next Thursday (5-11-06), the local 928 owners will be having our monthly 928 get together here in the Detroit area - others are always welcome.

Location is the same as always @ the Four Green Fields Pub in the strip mall on the SW corner of 13 Mile & Woodward (right next to the Secretary of State's office) in Royal Oak, MI.

Things usually start around 6:30ish and go until whenever.

This will be the last meeting before the big caravan to SITM! We will be discussing routes and departure times.

Also, I'll be circulating a signup sheet for our Dyno day that will be on either May 20th or May 21st.

This should also be the last meeting for me to bring a naturally aspirated 928!

I'm a "no-show" tonight, guys, but please keep me up-to-date on SITM caravan plans!

 

We're all leaving Thursday to do the DRAGON! You better adjust your schedule!

Early... I think. We'll be discussing tonight. It takes about 10 hours to get to from here to Knoxville. So if we want to be there at a decent hour, we need to leave here by 8-10 am. Certainly, no later than noon.

 

Well, not ALL of us. I'm planning on leaving after work on Thursday, stopping somewhere down near W. Virginia like last year. Not sure who's joining me (if anyone) but that's the plan. I should roll into Banner Elk early Friday afternoon.

 

 

While I'd rather not risk yet another 928-calamity for the 3rd year in a row, my main reason for leaving late is W O R K.

Recall for a moment that I made the trip last year with 20 miles on the engine I rebuilt. I've reached my quota for 928 courage
