Wanted: 85+ fuse blocks and/or complete good 1984 Euro fuse panel
I'm going to remove the burnt, corroded, and melted contacts on my 84 panel and install 85+ blade fuse blocks. I have a good 85 panel here, but I don't see the point in parting out a good panel when somebody probably has a cooked panel to break up.
If somebody would please donate the fuse blocks, I'll gladly pay shipping.
I'm also looking for a complete 84 Euro panel incase I don't get the fuse blocks or have time to modify my panel. PM me if you have one.

Matt - Do they even fit? I though the panel cutouts were different - never seen them side by side but seems the <85 have taller fuse blocks - no?

The fuse holders for 84s are molded in the frame and the contacts are just bent metal pressed through the frame. My frame in melted in several places and the metal pieces and bent and soldered in multiple places. I was going to cut the frame to accept the fuse blocks.

If somebody has the blocks and needs a panel, I'll sell/excahnge for $75. 928I wants $818 new and $250 used for an 85-86 US panel 928 610 105 09. The only things I've noticed wrong with the one I have: ground wires to ground points cut 4" from the back of the panel, 1 broken tab on the clear cover, a few broken top tabs for harnesses, and it's dusty. No burns, melted parts, or gerry-rigged wiring.

Matt,
Mike - 'Mpesik' may have some parts available - but maybe not a whole set of fuse blocks - not sure how bad the damage was on his first damaged panel. You may want to ask gently - he's not had a good time with this machine recently.
I think really he'd like to sell the you both panels for $9500 and throw the car in for free... I hope he changes his mind and gets it sorthed out - you may want to wait a few days first...

I sent him a PM after he ordered the second panel. He never responded.
Looking at the fuse spacing, it may be more effort than I thought to just install the blocks. I'd still like to do it eventually to get rid of the ceramic bullet fuses. If somebody has an 84 Euro panel they'd let go cheap, that would be a good temporary solution.
Here is what I'm working with...
Fuse blocks.
My 84 Euro panel and 85-86 US panel.
