Thats right Ken I remember your post on this when I was selecting mine, don't think they ever changed the Crank pulley; there the same on all model years.

21" = 106mm pulley

On the cars I've worked on with a small pulley, I've swapped to the larger pulley for less noise, and drain on the engine, but it's cooler where I live.

Installation wise, I did the same as Mike, slipped on the belt, then installed the upper, driver's side bolt, but since the belt was new, I used a prybar to align the other two bolt holes.
Duh! That makes a lot more sense that the fan pulley is different in that case and not the crank pulley. Thanks Ken.

OK, I had to order the new belt so I took them both (20 & 21").

In the meantime I am removing the rest of the air pump components. Any suggestions if something stay or is it ok to remove them all?

One greasy engine.

Belt changed, new crank seal installed, belt tensioner "rebuilt", I still have to clean up the ac compressor and servo pump.

So air pump removal….means bracket needs to stay? Or is euro bracket needed and does porken tensioner negate this? And when you delete cat with xpipe is just unplugging o2 sensor from footwell all that is needed after all plugging vacuum lines?

Mines a 81(USA-comp pckge) and just found out porken syst will negate air pump! Now wondering I gues just unplug o2…..besides plugging/capping vacuum lines/fittings.

Why would you unplug the O2 sensor?

What will you replace it with to offset the pull on the main crank bearing that the alternator will new create? (The alternator is a TIGHT belt too)

You should do as Porsche did, 7A here:

Or..do as this post tells us to:

That's because it's running in open loop and the car will run fine, but it's not ideal. If your car runs better without the O2 sensor, something else is wrong (like the O2 sensor)
