Found interesting document other day. Factory used pictures of strange hybrid S in FIA group 3 homologation papers dated November 1st 1980. Car in first page pictures has S model spoilers, ROW rear fog light, no passager side mirror, German licence plate and there is no ROW turn signal behind front wheels but it has US model side lamps.



Drawing included in same 19 page document is based on normal row S with ROW turn signals and no US side lamps.

 

Probably a factory test "mule" vehicle.
