The adhesive from the old hood liner has been on my hood since I bought it (PO power washed the old one off), I ordered a new one from Rob Budd with a red decal (pictures when I get this stuff off).
So does anyone have any tricks? I tried 3m adhesive remover it has proven to work great on everything until this, its baked on and Im scraping it off with a plastic scraper but its not working too well.

Goo-Gone will get it off you can pick it up at Lowes/Home Depot or at most automotive do-it-yourself stores.
Cover your engine and your fenders when using it and scraping. It really has a strong laquer smell so wear a ventilator of some sort if you have one or make sure you are using it in a well ventilated area.

I used a razor blade scraper. I was hesitant at first, but I was putting a new liner over it all anyway, so any scratches will be covered up. I also tried using goo gone and whatnot. Save some time, use the razor. Unless of course you aren't going to put a liner back in.

Orbital sander with some really gritty paper will tear it right off.

Whitefox... Goo-gone & a nylon pad/scrubber did it for me.
Wear mask and rubber gloves.
Go for it... just as you did to get back on the road. (Feels good, eh ?!)
Congrats !
