Watercooler... "If anything, this thread shows that there is overwhelming support for 928 INTL.
You can't buy that PR cheap." Actually you can not buy it at all it is something you earn and the positive comments from so many here are PRICELESS. Thank You very much.

Corporate PR is propaganda as you say Glen, it's about sweeping stuff under the rug. The kind of grassroots support we're seeing here in this thread(and others) is something very different IMHO.

WTF!!!
I requested this panel to be delivered here as soon as possible.
It was delivered - UPS Standard.
I've had a Vehicle Rental which cost me for over $700.
Also the customs and brokerage fee came to $91.00
Add it all up and it cost me over $1200. BUCKS!
This is the second screwup by the most popular vendor of parts-?????
The other episode was a WaterPump/Timing Belt Kit which was delivered with the wrong Flywheel lock tool.
There was over another week and a half of down time on that repair.
I also got stuck with the fees for the customs/brokerage for that one without a refund.
I'll give you a hint the vendors name rhymes with -sminational.

Seriously, tho...I am hopeful that you have realized the error of your ways here, and offer up an apology to the great folks at 928 INTL!
My last dealings with them....a couple months ago, my '85 was at the shop getting a new head gasket. Wrench calls me, and tells me that the gaskets are out of stock at all of the suppliers that he uses. I called my good friends DR & Jeannie - too late for them to ship, and they reminded me that 928INTL was on left coast time and could get it out to me...So - 5pm (CST) I CALL 928Intl....yea - I had to pay some extra $ for overnight shipping, but we had the gasket in-hand by 10am the next morning. (They even shipped it directly to my wrench!). BEFORE shipping it out - they called me back to make SURE I needed DS vs. PS gasket!
NEXT - you also slammed Randy V...intimated that he was being unprofessional for making his comment. DOH - I think you'll find LOT's of humor in many of the responses. As a moderator - his job is to make sure that the rules are being followed. Moderators are volunteers...and being a moderator does not preclude them from voicing their opinions or injecting some humor. (BTW RV - that WAS a good one!!!).
LASTLY - do a search with the term "Yikes" and "Fire" as posted by my screenname (about 2.5 years ago)...you will find a MUCH worse story about a fuse panel fire...and also it's successful resolution...which was facilitated by one of our Rennlist brethren providing me with a perfect used FP for $75!
Now...realize that you seem to be taking out your frustration on your car on others. Take your licks...swallow your pride...publicly apologize and attempt to mitigate the damage done.
PS - I still have the remains of my burnt fuse panel. It has several good fuse block modules remaining. I will be happy to send you a "GIFT" of a couple if you need them (as I have done for others here).
