Is there a car you would give up your 928(s) to buy?

Audi RS6, RS4, or the upcoming R8.
I'm still hoping the V8 Vantage has some serious depreciation problems so I can afford one in a few years. Here in Detroit the Ford Execs can drive Jags as their company cars, and I assume that's also true of AMs. In a couple years their may be quite a few of them just off lease!

When (not if) Aston comes out with the updated transaxle on the AM-V8 and starts offering woods and a 500HP engine then you might see some depreciation. Depreciation on a $110K car is not as painful as the BD7 and Vanquish owners who paid a whole lot more.

There are many cars out there that I like as much or more than the 928...however....nothing even remotely close to my price range! :>)
Another thought is 928's are at/near the bottom of the depreciation cycle.....You are guaranteed to loose your shirt in a new AM.....plus its a british car...so the reliability will make the 928 look like a Honda!!! They do look good though!

Interesting,
Money asside I find that the newer cars do very little for me. They all look great but!
I was looking into the AM but when I got behind the wheel I felt cofined. The GTS even my 911 felt considerably more roomy. I had a ride in an F430 and was very impressed by performance but again not very comfortable IMO. I know someone who has a McLaren F1, talk about amazing but I would never be able to drive the thing getting into the passenger seat was tough enough. He also owns an SLR Mclaren and that was interesting but usless. I had my GTS next to the new Masserati and to be honest I liked the GTS better. It was funny but the Masserati owner was more interested in the GTS than I was in his car.
I agree on the BMW CSL and the early E type jags. Maybe a Masserati Bora, a Lambo Miura, Ferrari 288GTO, Daytona spyder or F50 or a race bodied BMW M1. I have riden in or have driven most of these car and they were very nice. Although some had issues. I guess as I get older I am finding cars like the Bentley Continental and Maybach to be intreguing.
I guess if I had to replace it with something It would be this. But I am partial to Blue.

Three Wheelin'
Anthony, Say it isn't so, a late 60's GM metallic blue on a sacred Ferrari! I think the 275's were some of the most beautiful auto's ever designed. And then there was the sound, awesome. A fellow Aston owner had one in a more conventional configuration, Ferari red coupe with the late four cam engine and 6 two barrel webers. What a car. One of my most lusted after vehicles.

Well In the case it was not original here is a picture in a more traditional color combo just to help with the eye strain
I do admit the AM looks very agressive but I still like the older cars.
