Default A little dyno time today in DFW....

Here are some pics from a group dyno today @ Motorsport Ranch, south of Ft. Worth. We had several of the Rennlisters in attendance, and a bit of a mixed bag of cars. Rob Cohen was kind enought to host us for donuts and coffee and arranged the dyno time so he could test his new transplant in his 911. I didn't take a lot of pics as I was low on batteries, but here's what I have. Rob's 911, my (Great) white shark, Roger's GTS and Loaded's black S4. I won't divulge any data but mine-max HP=247, max TQ=263.87.

PS-even though there seem to be an unbalanced number of pics of the white 928, trust me, there were a few more I didn't post!

I think I would be finding another dyno and not put too much weight into those numbers.

I think everyone was a little disappointed in their numbers, and a couple of people saw lower than what they got before. What the heck, standing around and plugging our ears, looking at the bottoms of our cars and other general ogling while each car was running....what better way to spend a morning?

And Krispy Kremes to boot...

The numbers seem a little low indeed.

Going through the PNW 928 site where there are many dyno days recorded I see that my memory continues to degrade and the numbers I thought you should see are a bit optimistic. 260 - 270 for stock S4's is the average.
You still have a few pony's to find. Ed

We all thought so. Mine fared best of all,,,,it didn't get dynoed! Got a track ride in Rob's much modded screamer 911. Didn't spew, so it was a sucess. We're keeping an eye out for a 928 for him now. Thanks to Rob and Karen, excellent hosts, when you find one I'll work on it anytime.

Sorry I couldn't stick around for burgers. I met my wife for a late lunch, which paid off nicely. A couple of Margarita's and Enrique's in Argyle, and she gave me the thumbs up to buy a lift for the garage
