Default Rixter expands his harem

High bidder ($100.00) is our man Rixter. Are you sure you want this, it is way too new for you? Just kidding. I'm all for one of us saving it, if it is only for parts. I like it when they put it on stumps and not rocks, rocks are so de classe..

go ahead and laugh, it's only a state away, 32v (I want the engine for a project I'm working on), only needs some duct tape and gorilla glue and I'm ready to go

and I have a matching set of stumps at the house!

PS: see my sig, I do own an S4

Rixter:
I'm not laughing you! I hope you get it for 100 and make thousands, that is how it works. I've seen plenty of cars in meadows, it just brings back old memories. Sorry, I missed the S4, I just think of you as specializing in early cars and you have several. I lovem all. Especially ones that are saved. I caught my '85 on the way down. It was really in good shape so I can't claim to have resurrected anything, but it clearly needed me and although I am awaiting delivery of a GTS (more when I have pics) I may try to keep the '85 'cuz I'm not done with it, or maybe I should say she is not done with me.

It's always a drag to see a 928 reduced to being put out to pasture, let a lone on stumps and I was bummed to see this listing on EBay.

I commend anyone for rescuing a 928, and I'm sure rixter will resurrect all that can be on this one.

Steve, I picked up the S4 last year (I stole it), the obs are my true love and I will continue owning them for as long as I own 928s. I just want this one for parts for a project I'm working on

Mark, SITM is right around the corner, are you coming up early? I'm gonna open up the house to 'listers on Wed, Thur as a stopover
the "wheel" is a definate selling point.. if I mount it right I could "uni" the car home

Sterling, the critters would be most welcome at the new home, last nite I had an owl hooting outside my bedroom! gotta LOVE the country

but seriously, I have no intention of spending $2k on the car, I can get a wrecked S4 for a little more than that, but if I can get this for $1k or so it's close enough to make it worth my while

Rixter! Im 10 miles south of Lessburg... you know where I live. I have 3 big stumps at my house if you need a place to store it!! We have a porsche GTG saturday, I could go look at it before then if needed also, you have helped me several times in the past, it would be no problem.

Also, I might take ya up on that stop over before SITM too!!!

Let me know.

Not aluminum, just heavily oxidized.

ha... I have 2 cords ready to be split here at the house, back off and I'll give you some

seriously though, another lister just gave me a heads up on a much better deal so I"m not gonna bid on this anymore for now
I really only want the engine (bottom actually) and some spares but I can get that off this other car

my plan is a 5l bottom, EuroS pistons, cams, heads, tb, runners etc
then add DR's SC kit and hope for 500hp
