I'm getting around 15 mainly suburban driving. Not really city driving, but not really highway. Not driving it real hard either. Hmmm....

Maybe I need to double check that on the next couple of tankfuls. Seems kinda low compared to most. -Ed

89 S4 gets 18 MPG overall, 22 highway, and about zero for the first 150 feet.

16ish mixed city/highway.
Around 20 on highway. That 2.20 rear end helps stretch the refined black gold.

Don't dead O2 sensor kill mileage.

BB, doncha get at least 2-3 mpg during lift-off.

I'm doing about what Schoki does, with stock everything
and prudent but spirited driving.

G'luck.

I guess it depends on alot of veriables, but if your just driving with a light right foot that helps. I run synthetic in all the mechanicals. With all that in mind, I am getting 26 - 27 mpg on the highway.

I forget about gas mileage if I am heavy on the gas!

I'm between 16 and little over 22 mpg - the latter on the freeway going significantly above the limit, but not flooring it everytime I see a gap.

My 88 S4 took a bit more when driving around town, but was never below 15 mpg.

I would say that if you only get 13 mpg there is something seriously wrong with either your car or your foot.

Do your shoes have lead soles?

Nice.....

13mpg average is a bit low.....you must be running rich?

My 88 auto gets about 15 in town and 21-22 on the freeway.....Most tanks are a mix and average about 18-19mpg.

18-22 mpg is what I'm getting and seems to be the norm. 13 is way too low. Did you check your oxygen sensor?
