I was hoping it was that guy who had his really custom 944 stolen...
Any word on what happened to that car?

VERY strange. VERY. I find it difficult to believe that this fellow accidently dropped his ID while stealing. I would be more inclined to believe that someone with an ax to grind with this guy stole his ID and framed him, knowing that he had a record for breaking into cars. JMHO.

They found the guy and the car in pieces IIRC. There was a thread a couple of weeks ago. He was a rennlist member...

Correct, the car was found in peices, the rennlist member was Turby.
